KBD fender flares, anyone ever heard of these?

I was perusing the inter-web a couple of weeks ago and came across these fenders. I tried to do some web searches and nothing would come up. Soooo, i deciding to give this company a call and ask some questions. The gentlemen that i spoke with on the phone was very helpful! He explained to me that they just released these fender flares a couple weeks prior. He went on to tell me that they have been making bumpers and body parts for the drifitng/racing world for some time and this is their first attempt at cracking the wrangler market. They can be easily painted to match your jeep color just like any other plastic body part. Best part, NO DRILLING! I went ahead and ordered some! They should be here today/tomorrow. I will update with some pic's when they arrive.

It get interesting around 1:49 in vid

Seems pretty cool. How wide are these? I'd like something close to factory width.

"Front fenders are approximately 2″ narrower than standard width fenders."

$250 beats the hell out of spending a grand, then add paint, then add install for the aluminum ones. Installing the aluminum fenders requries drilling all sorts of holes which just promotes more places to rust out. Thanks but no thanks on those aluminum fenders...

There are two reviews on their FB. One is 5 hours old and the over is 18 hours old. Must be a new product but the pics on FB look good.

Got home today and the fenders were waiting for me! I Immediately opened up said box.
These things are pretty neat! They are super light! 12lb for all 4 fenders. Here are some pics, including some with measurements, for you # guys/gals. The rears are basically the same width, just flat. The fronts are definitely pretty skinny. More than the flat plain fenders, but less than your standard width tube fenders. This may not appeal to all.

I値l run them by my auto paint guy and see what he quotes me for color match to Jeep. Also so glad I did not go and order the rivnut tool as I will not need to drill any holes for these fenders. In the event I知 not happy in the end, I yank them off and I still have a clean palette for whatever will be next. Let痴 hope not, lol.

Check their FAQ, they have instructions in how to paint them.

Are those pinholes? Do you think it'll be easy to sand them out/paint?

Looks like some quality control issues on the molding process.

Like others, I'd prefer more to stock width.

Even if I was planning to keep them black I think I would spray them with some truck bed lining. The look and price is tempting, but the plastic quality looks suspect. I'd much rather see them in a black textured finish.

I just purchased my set.
I have one concern! Do I need side marker lights for the front??
These are supposed to be amber in color.

I called the company and the help deck said their's a 3/4" indentation for the lights.

Those fenders do look good.
A little too narrow in the front for me.
If they had a set with wider fronts, I'd definitely try a set.

I decided to paint just the top sides of these fenders. I was able to get the paint locally at supply house. Hopefully I will have time this coming week to get these painted and installed.

I did not like the way the rear fit on the body instead of in the fender relief. Not the KBD flares. This made the tire to wheel well opening way to big for my taste and made my 35s look way to small. Both my wife and I did not like the look and I did not even install the front. My buddy bought them and installed them on his blue jeep with 35s and they did not look to bad. the colors made a big difference in the way they looked. I also painted my rear inner metal black and he left his body color. Both of us removed the plastic rear liners.
