Leave it alone, or....?

I installed the Smittybilt Nerf Bars yesterday. As you can see in the pic, the black mounting screws give it an unfinished look. Was thinking about painting(plastic dip) the entire 1" area to make the black screws vanish. One reason I am thinking about painting the area, is where I tightened the screws, the factory paint around the factory hole cracked and I'm worried about rust. Anyone else paint the area in question? Or do I just leave it alone?

Nail polish, or factory touch up paint.

I did mine too, painted it with bedliner and used a strip of black traction tape for the even line at the top.

My Jeep body is Anvil. Where it isn't it's flat black. Easy to touch up. I didn't buy my Jeep to be a safe queen.
