Smile Looking for opinions on the best lift kits for my JK 4-door Wrangler

Hi Guys, I was looking for recommendations for the best type and brand of lift kits out there? What to stay away from and what you have had good experience with. Thanks!

Hey Jen,
Welcome to the forum.
I would take a few moments and look through JK's sections sticky threads.
Do you know what size tire you want to run ?
How about budget (lift kit only) ?

Welcome! What do you plan to do with your rig, since this should be taken into consideration as well. Do you plan to offroad, and if so, trails/dirt roads, mud, muck, swamps, rocks? Is your Jeep your daily driver? Do you have a long commute?

Most importantly, have you done whatever it is with it yet still stock? If not, that is a great place to start before changing a thing. Your rig will tell you what it needs.

Thanks for the responses. I am running 32" BFGoodrich TA KO tires on it. It is my DD and my commute to work is about 40 miles round trip. I do plan on taking it offroad, probably the majority will be trails and mud. I'm looking for a lift that is affordable yet, will last and good for light to moderate offroading. Thanks for any recommendations!

Start reading there. Make sure you pay special attention to the lift and wheels/tires sections.

The TeraFlex lift video is really good. The Newby's Guide to Lifting Your JK is another must read.

Happy reading!
