Maximus 3 grill guard

Any new owners of the Maximus 3 grill guard? Put mine on 6 or 7 weeks ago and really like it. Tried to search for the thread again, but it seems to have disappeared.

Looks good! This is a stupid question, but where did you get yours, because this would look awesome on my jeep haha.

Direct from the company. If you do a search, you'll find it. The model I bought has tabs to mount accessory lights. Around $300. THere is also one that allows a winch to be mounted. There was a thread on here that showed assembly, again don't know what happened to it.

Maximus Hoop and Light Bar Pics

Here are a few pics of my Maximus hoop and light bar. I have been running it for about 4 weeks now and really can not say enough about the quality of the product and great customer support. I do not see any other unit on the market that can compare to this unit. Easy to install, remove front bumper, add brackets, reassemble. I also have the winch plate for added versatility. Hope to have the winch plated installed and tested in a few weeks. Pics were taken around Moab, Coral Sand Dunes, Bryce, and Zion.

Very professional looking pictures. Off topic question, have you seen a benefit from the bug deflector? Thx.

Bug Deflector

It has keep my hood from getting chipped up tremendously here on the Colorado roads. We seem to have more rocks on the shoulders and roadways than other states. I have also seen rocks hit it and bounce over the windshield with the deflector on. I highly recommend it for most folks. It matches the black Mopar fenders perfectly. I also have the strip installed on the rear door panel. You only get one shot installing it straight, be careful. Hope this helps!

Very nice! I just bought a 2014 2door anvil color. Love yours! Where did you purchase the grill inserts, light inserts and bug protector. Those look very sharp! Thanks for posting the pics.

What are the black accessories just next to your antenna on the hood? I have seen them before and like them, but don't know the search term to find them.

Thanks

Pretty sure they are called cowl covers and IIRC, Rugged Ridge makes the black (plastic) ones, and there is someone else who makes diamond plate ones.

Google 'jeep cowl cover' and you will get a TON of hits.

Excellent - just wrote them an email asking if they offered local pickup so I could save on shipping (I'm like 45-60 minutes away from them) and they said yes - just to call them ahead of time so they could prepare it for me.

woo woo

Very nice, and looks like an easy install. I'd been eying the MBRP guard, not sure which i like better, but this one sounds like an easier install

A bit pricey though, at $330 shipped, its getting into full new bumper territory.

I don't believe it can be called a 'grill guard' when the guard costs more than the replacement grille.

I believe that makes it an 'accessory'
