From what I have seen $80 is a real good price. As for looks, take a look at any stock Rubicon and you can see what it will look like when you pull your steps and install the rails. They will offer you some protection you don't currently have if you drop straight down on something. If your steps was all I had I would have destroyed them long ago. I like my rubi-rails paired with Ace sliders. They have taken a pretty good beating so far.

Thanks do they stick out a bit to still be used as a step?

No they do not. They are strictly rails. That's why a lot of people will add Ace Sliders to the install. The sliders will stick out far enough for a step.

We just recent got a pair of takeoff Rubi rails off Craigslist for $100. Never seen them for $80. Sounds like a great deal.

We added them behind our ACE sliders, for the look and more protection. The rails themselves have no step. But the ACE sliders step is great. We love them!
