New stereo

I just installed the Pioneer AVH-P4300dvd, and let me tell you all this thing is awesome! It was about a 3 install, I could have shaved about an hour due to the fact I soldered the connections, tapped into the parking brake switch, when I found out l could have just spliced into a wire. And I wasted a ton of time second guessing the wires that needed spliced. Called Crutchfield, and they are as good as everyone says. It would have been easier if they just put in the shipped directions, red to red, yellow to yellow, etc... Only tricky one was all three blue wires go together. As for modifying the Jeep, remove the bracket as instructed, and the upper plastic piece above the radio needs to be trimmed. I cut mine with a utility knife.

As for the radio, one of the few that has a USB connection in the back and controls my old iPhone. I thought it had Bluetooth built in, but by the time I convinced myself this was the one, I realized it was an option. So is adding a backup camera, HD radio, Movies from you IPod, navigation, and satellite radio. There is a remote, but I realized that I can reach that radio just as well as the stock radio. There is also a connection for steering wheel controls for those of you that have that. So for 2 hours worth of playing, it is the bomb.

And I don't remember ordering, unpacking, installing speakers in that bracket that has the dome light, but sound now comes out of it. I'm changing the name of mine from light bar to sound bar.

I didn't purchase the camera, yet. If and when I get the camera I would get the Pioneer. Not sure what pack you speak of for 130. When I bought the head unit, the gave my the wiring adapter 50% off making it $65 that is what you are referring to. Which is why it totaled 565

You could run,"OK" aftermarket speakers without an amp. All depends on what you are buying and what you want them to do.
