Bought one, installed it (unbolted front seat, pushed it back, and spent 5-min on my right side). I really like it!!!!!

Has anyone actually put in a PC and not liked it? I mean in a “f this I’m mad as hell about this stupid thing and all of its fake news and sending it back tomorrow” kind of way, not a “Curses! If it weren’t for that black box...” and couldn’t-get-it-installed kind of way.

Also, please post more pics of those install assistants!

I have not seen any of those type comments. There was one, but he changed his mind. My Jeep wasn't always fun to drive because it always felt anemic and slow. Two of my other cars have 300lbs of torque and when I got in the Jeep, it was like omg slow. The PC makes driving the Jeep more enjoyable.

My $0.02...black box makes the install a bit more challenging, but not impossible, based on my JKU install experience.

I had to try out all the settings to find the one I seem to like best for now. If you use your Jeep as a DD at all, you will definitely appreciate the PC. On Sport+, +4 setting, it jumps off the line to a very light touch on the accelerator, almost makes you think you're on one of those plasti-bike two-wheeled crotch rockets...but much more comfortable.

City +3 for my DD. Any more and you put yourself at risk in a quick reflex maneuver.
I was on sport+2 and needed to move quick in a parking lot and I launched way to aggressive.
That's when I backed it down.

I would say my only issue with it would be the slight drop in MPG. I mainly stay in City +3.

Sports get a little touchy with a 6-speed manual .

I've backed mine down to City +4. Sport to Sport +2 is fun but tempts me to drive more aggressive than I normally would. Decreasing MPG even further in a vehicle not known for it's fuel efficiency.

I hope more people read this thread and give this thing a try. Yes, it's pricey, but it really increases the enjoyment of driving these overpriced and endearing blocks of metal we seem to like owning so much.

Yup, PC isn't going to help with MPG. I have City +3 on MT. Especially winter driving in the PNW. Like most of us who has it, It is really worth it coz of the way our JK/U performs... And I just installed aFe Scorpion high tuck Axle-back muffler today!

Did you get it installed ? Was it worth the wait?

I was going to use some Christmas amazon GCs on it but it’s not on sale on Amazon currently.

Anyone see it go back on sale on amazon let me know.

It's IN!! Went in fairly easily after a few contortions! The sticky velcro didn't work too well due to the temps but I'll mount that later. Roads were a little slick to do much testing but it definitely feels lots better! Only been on City +1 for now. Will try it some more tomorrow but definitely money well spent!

LOL, thanks! Yeah, it wasn't too hard even in the cold. Had to be careful not to break any brittle plastic pieces. Will get it out later today for a real test. Do you know if the PC for 3.8s is the same for 3.6s? I'll be trading or selling this some day and will want to keep this for the newer one.

Are u 100% positive old chap?

When I ordered mine from their site it ask 3.8 or 3.6. I would think the programming would be different but I could be wrong.

Make sure you clean surface very good, use the wipe and if that doesn't suffice, rubbing alcohol and a cloth and really rub out the greasy film left by any armorall etc

Is there anyone who installed the PC who doesn't like it? All I've read, except for one, were positive comments. Sadly with this many positive comments, it seems that our Jeeps ran like dogs before. I know mine did. I let someone borrow it once and her comment was basically she was glad to get back to her other vehicle because it had pep. She owned a Jeep prior to mine, probably a CJ 7. She still wants to borrow the Jeep even if it was anemic.

Got mine installed today on my new JK. Tried but failed a few times on getting the harness apart, even took the front panel off, but the black box was completely blocking the harness. Ended up taking to a mechanic friend, he got it done in 15 minutes.

I have a SprintBooster on my 370z (not that the car needs any help) so kinda knew what to expect with performance. Have it City +2 for now, and the drive is much more enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

Installed this last night. I was happy it didn't take long to install, it was single digits outside.

+1 @trailhunter for the CAD image earlier in the thread. This really helped knowing what to look for, before I actively started looking for it.

I'm happy with results. Having it for only 24 hours, I've settled around City +3. I will be testing Sport mode with more time on the highway. Snow is on the ground here, but +1 @Rubecon for recommending ECO during snow, it helps.

There was no black box on mine, no NAV for me, just Alpine. I ended up mounting it just behind the Ignition. There was a nice flat spot just above the cabin temp sensor.

I didn't believe you guys. I bought it. Took less than 10 minutes to install. (remove lower dash piece, two 10mm nuts, remove plate, unplug, plug, reassemble)

I believe you guys now.

Sport +1 seems really good. Sport +2 is a bit much.

I honestly didn't think the difference would be that noticeable. I was wrong.

I'll have to test the more aggressive stuff in the dirt.

Thanks forum. Again. For spending my money. Again.
