Philips 7" LED headlight

"What the heck, Hilldweller? Another one?"

Philips 7" Round LED High/Low Beam DOT Headlamp

Looks like it. From a legitimate company too.
I'm trying to get intel on it.

I was Philips' largest national distributor for years before doing what I do now... I didn't work with the automotive division, but I saw that headlight. It's either a clone or a buyout, unless something has changed in the last year. You'll know what I mean when you see it.

They also had a target market price of $300/ea back then...

So is that a good thing or a bad thing.. about being the clone or buyout?

I wouldn't say bad either way. It looks like it is using their emitters which are pretty good... If the price is in line, I'd certainly give them a try.

$540 and change for a pair when you can get JW Speakers through the forum vendors for less might be a hard sell. And would these need anti-flickers too?

You're right. I did some checking and it's a Truck-Lite.

I suspect they have a joint marketing agreement if they are using the Philips emitters. Philips bought the company that makes the Altinon/Ultinon LED emitters a few years back and that might be the connection.
