Made this decision two years ago and stand by it. What would you chose ?

Since you're still alive, is air bags the correct answer?

Well, my wife insisted on all the airbags I could get and I insisted on 3.73 gears so I guess I can't help you decide..lol

Gears, if 3.73 or 4.10

No one can make that decision for you. It will drive nicer with the gears, but you have to decide if you feel safe without the airbags.

What walt said. And if you want the best seat covers out there you have to skip the side bags.

Gears, unless your wife insists on the seat side air bags, then do both upgrades. Its easier to pay for it up front then pay for it later and also costs far less.

Depends on what you're going to do with it. I had 3.73 on my '12 and went with the 3.21 on my '15. Granted, it's only been 600 miles, but, I don't miss the 3.73. Lots of hills around here and was expecting a lot more frequent downshifts when going up hills, but, I don't really notice much of a difference. My around town driving resulted in approx 14.8 mpg after 30,000 miles on the '12 and now I'm seeing about 15.4...with winter blend fuel (which is typically a little worse for mileage) and less than 600 miles (mileage typically increases as it gets broken in). I didn't have bigger wheels/tires on that one and won't on this one. Did some 'wheeling, but, nothing crazy and will probably be the same with this one. From what I've seen so far, I won't miss the 3.73, but, each person's situation will be different.
Also check with your insurance company to see if you get an additional discount for the side airbags. I didn't ask as I didn't care....got them on the '12 and same with this one.

Gears, I have a really hard head and don't need the side air bags.
