Thank you for this... I love that bumper.

1. Did you happen to notice how much suspension sag it caused?

2. What are you grinding? i thought this was a bolt on item.

Really good looking bumper. I don't think there are any bumpers by them that look bad. Nice pics. I'm surprised by the cutting too, thought that was only necessary with the BFH series?

He had to grind because he bought the disco skid too. That piece with the 4 holes is an extra skid piece. You have to relocate the pump in order to install that. Otherwise the rockbrawler bumpers don't require any grinding, simple bolt on.

the bumper is bolt on. I had to get the P.S. skid plate to protect the electronic swaybar disconnect motor and crash bar. (recommended for Rubicon models)
it required a little grinding on the edge of the crash bar to fit the skid plate.

the bumper has 8 bolts.
FYI the 4 bolts on the inside where difficult to reach and tighten. this is due to the swaybar motor, crash bar, and new skid plate.

I advise if you have a winch to install when you install the bumper. space is very limited.

P.s. has good pic on the instructions of the amount you have to grind away from the crash bar.

that's one thing I forgot to do. I was going to take a measurement before and after.

as of now I can not tell.

The bumper is about 90 lbs, skid plate 30 lbs, and winch about 80ish.

I have a aev 3.5 lift. I looked on aev website to see how much there bumper weighed. I believe there bumper was close to 90lbs also, plus if you add the winch weight it comes out to about the same.

Just want to mention that you don't have to relocate the pump for this one.

i did not have to relocate the pump. have to give props to p.s. it fits like a glove. tight space but it works.

it does not come painted. my buddy (who is grinding in the pic) knew a guy. cost me 175 to powder coat the bumper and skid plate.
