@Thisdude

This is the response I got from Mike already.

Quote:
Good Morning Allen,

Thank you for the info!
I have forwarded the info to our QC team making sure they are well aware of the issue.
What I would like to do is extend out a NEW set of lights to the customer if he would like to swap them out?

Let me know.
So PM me that info. I believe you bought them from me but not sure.

Namaste,

Allen

I just ordered a set, Allen. Looks like I'm going to have my jeep for awhile longer and the stock ones are so horribly terrible. I've had them back in for three weeks and I can't stand it. How people still run them is beyond me....

You betcha @RhinoSportJKU

Yes images at night would be very cool. If you would, please stop by and review them on the site. It may help others to benefit from better lights. Just so others who might be on the fence can pull the trigger. Also, those who want them before Christmas, you should order now.

Have a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

I have a set of these installed in my 2016 Rubicon and I love them. One question though, since I'm in Canada with mandatory daytime running lights, the stock Jeep ran the stock lights at half power. With these LEDs installed, the drl turn on the high beams which flicker.

My work around is to simply turn on the headlights to full power which works fine and puts the LEDs to the regular low beams. High beams work fine with no flicker when activated manually so it's just the drl feature. Does anyone else have this issue and possible solution?

That is one thing about these lights. They do not support DRL feature. Most just switch the DRL to the fogs.

Like most other mods, right? Now that I have it, what excuses can I come up with to use it. Hunny, we are out of paprika. I am heading to the store.

The fit in the buckets is a little hit and miss. Every light except the Hella's has been loose in my buckets. So 4 out of 5... When I look at my buckets without a headlight in them, I actually think they look warped.

Let us know what you think in the "night" light...

Well, it's dark. I'm thrilled. These headlights are awesome. My wife drives a '16 Acura RDX and I think these are in the same ballpark as hers.

After reading this thread I was sold on these. Ordered today. One question for all who already installed them. The instructions tell you to disconnect the battery negative. I can't see a reason to. Did anyone follow that instruction?
Thanks
And thanks to AOR for a great deal.

Mine were just a tad loose, so I put a small strip of rubber seal tape across the bottom of each bucket.

Very impressed with these after driving last night for the first time. Wish I would have done this long before now. So does Pro Comp make a replacement LED fog light set for the JK? Or what other upgrades have you guys done to the fog lights that goes well with these headlights?

I haven't made the change yet, but my research keeps me coming back to the Quadratec's in clear.

Question on the warranty. I excerpted a portion and underlined a few pieces for emphasis. So does the warranty cover lights/electrical?

TIA for your thoughts.

The warranty covers the lights. I have a new light coming next week because of a weird blemish in the beam caused by something inside he housing. See my earlier posts.

Got my lights late last night and got them in today. I like the look and I like the output. The cutoff is amazing and the color is great. A couple things on the install, however. The drivers side light is actually a bit loose in the housing. Its almost just a tad too small as the metal ring is tight. Also, the wiring doesn't "click" into place into the factory harness. The tab that locks it in is just loose and the plug can easily just pull out whereas the factory ones are super tight plus has the tab to lock it in. Has anyone else experienced these issues? Is it just me?

I can vouch for these lights being a great bang for the buck... well reviewed and some sales on them.

I've read a few guys in this thread having issues installing, but after I've swapped my old H13 to H4 previously, I had already known what do and it was pretty easy.

Wish ProComp made fogs/tailights/marker/turn signal lights this good at a competitive price and I'd swap them all.

The wires MUST click in place or the plug will probably fall out. You just have to push them together harder. Maybe you can use a screwdriver or something similar to help push them together. That's what I had to do. Be careful not to break the clip.
My housing was loose too. You can put some rubber strip or velcro strip behind or along side the lamp to make it tighter.
