Question about using the audio control LC7i with stock HU

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and I just installed new polk db 6501's to replace my stock speakers and an alpine power pack ktp-445u in my 2015 2dr wrangler. Would installing the audio control LC7i to my existing setup improve my sound quality a ton with the stock head unit. If it will improve my audio quality would you remove the ktp-445u and just go with LC7i and polk speakers. All suggestions are welcome!

Thanks for your help

In theory it should. From what I understand, the stock HU's have a bass attenuation circuit of some sort. The LC7i with accuBASS is supposed to correct for this. I can't speak from experience however.

NO. The LC7i is a line out converter so you will need to keep your downstream amp.

Thanks for the info, that helped alot. I'm curious if anyone here has the setup with the HU connected to LC7i to the power pack amp.
