Question for anyone with one of the newer JK Sirius tadios

Just picked up a 2017 JK with the Sirius radio . The buttons on the screen aren’t responsive. I noticed in the “menu” screen, there is something that says “screen off”. Is there a button, or some combination of buttons I can press to make the screen active? I can’t figure out how to make this screen active. Can anybody tell me what I’m missing here?

Screen off turns the screen black. Maybe leaving a clock in the center.

Did I read your post correctly that the touch screen is unresponsive?

If the screen is not responding you probably have a defective head unit.

The AM/FM/SAT radio presets stopped working on the head unit of my 2013 JK; the dealer replaced it under warranty.

Try using the tip of your finger or a fingernail.

I've had that happen when my hands get very dry.
