Question, I Just bought used Hardtop for my JKU

I am planning a couple long trips soon, one to Colorado early next summer and I need the safety of the hardtop. My Jeep came from factory with softtop.

I don't care too much about the rear wiper but; is there a way to get the defrost functionally to work?

Assuming you already checked for a harness plug in the back? May have to pull some carpet down in the rear most corner of the tub. I dont have carpet anymore but mine was under there. Sorry for the crappy pic but its dark and the jeep is loaded up for a trip.

Thanks for your help. I looked but there is no plugs, it seems if the Jeep came with soft top from factory those were not included.

Even with the harness, you won't have the defrost button on the dash. This kit supplies everything you need (assuming you have manual A/C) including a new HVAC panel with the defrost button.

Thanks guys for the info. I check my AC panel and there is a switch for it, which could mean nothing. I'll trace it when I get home tonight.

If you have the rear defrost button, but no rear defrost, it might be there to support heated mirrors. If so, yea, you will not need a new rear defrost button, but you'll still need the "I got heated mirrors, adding only a heated rear window" wiring harness.
