I removed mine and replaced it with a Rubicon style sticker on the hood that says "Sahara".

Ha! You and me BOTH. You know how many beers and cigars I've gone through staring at those damn stickers. One night I even got everything ready for the "surgery". Had the heat gun warmed up and everything and I heard a voice, " Are you SURE you really want to do that".

I thought I was having a religious experience, you know the kind you read about.... turns out it was my Wife standing up on the landing, she had come out to get a roll of paper towels I put the stuff away and went to bed.
They're still on there.

I removed mine. IMO it didn't look good on my black jeep.

Removed mine right away and replaced them with these:

About a year and a half later I had an encounter with some trees which tore one of the decals up (as well as the whole passenger side of the Jeep), so I had the collision shop remove the one on the driver's side, too. Even though I really liked these decals (made my Jeep "mine") it also looks just fine without them, so I don't know that I will change that.

Maybe I'm not the one to chime in because I have a Rubicon, but I like the Sahara stickers on a JK. The old style I didn't like. The dunes almost have a "winged" look to them and I know everyone likes wings.

I like the Sahara stickers, but I debated for a long time changing mine out because on the true blue color, the Wrangler sticker is silver and I thought that looked kinda' dumb with the dune-colored Sahara. So I made 2 attempts to get matching Wrangler stickers from Pixel Decals but the colors never matched. After I plasti-dipped everything shiny to black (Jeep emblem, door locks, trail rated badges, etc), I decided to change out both the stickers. Got Wrangler stickers in matte black and Sahara stickers in matte black and silver. Now they don't stand out much but look cool when the sun hits them just right and they tie in well with all the black parts and my machined aluminum wheels.

My flag is in reflective black....I should have gotten my Rubi-style Sahara sticker in reflective black as well.

I removed all the stickers on ours the day after I brought it home.

I prefer the clean white and black look. Ours has "Sahara" stitched into the front seats anyway so there is no mistaking what it is.

I wasn't a fan of the gold sticker on red, but I wanted to keep the look, replaced with a black/grey and very happy with it.

I can not stand stickers, dealer ad stickers, model information decals, school decals, bumper stickers, etc. Removed mine within a week.

I think stickers are a poor substitute for a proper emblem, so mine came off and got replaced with a black grille emblem.

The flag is reflective.....it is pretty sweet. I wish I would have gotten the "SAHARA" sticker in reflective as well.

I want something that matches the WRANGLER and UNLIMITED stickers during the day so I was originally thinking about getting the regular flat black flag... but in your pictures it looks like the reflective black flag matches well. Does it match as well in person?

Yup...BUT it also depends on the angle of the light.
Here is some pics of when I first put the stickers on and looked at it from different angles in the sun.

You can see the change in each pic as I move from left to right. The 3rd pic almost glows.

Same here... Sometimes it is jet black, other times it can glow in the light.

Maybe my 23+ years in the Air Force caused my affinity with "wings" but I like the TJ version of the Sahara decal. Thanks to Don @ Pixel Decals, reflective black and bright white; it looks awesome when the lights hit it.

I removed mine a few days after I got the Jeep. The Sahara stickers didn't look good on Anvil IMHO.
