Seicane rear view camera

Hi guys

I noticed that when i shift the gear from drive to reversing.. the music im playing stops and display the rear camera view with no music until i shift back to neutral or parking

Do anyone know of there is away where i can play music eveing if im reversing?

Is it a wiring issue or a factory setting issue?

My Subaru does that also. Can't access anything at all while backing up.
Guess they feel you need to be just concentrating on backing up.

I am pretty sure the sound continues when I shift into reverse... its just that I can't change it while the camera view is displayed.

My Seicane will set the reverse volume depending on how you set it in the head. Currently, mine drops about 30%. That is a level I selected. I can change it at any time. If I remember right, it was set to mute the sound from Seicane.

How can i set the volume higher? Is it through the factory setting section?

Yes, it's in one of the factory settings. Might be an advanced menu. I would have to look. It's been awhile since I have done it.
