Single seat/Half fold and tumble rear seat

I've seen at least one example of people adding a singular bucket seat to replace the rear bench in their 2 door JK. I want to get rid of my rear seat for extra storage, but I run into to many situations where I have more than 1 passenger. The obvious compromise is to have 3 seats. Has anyone created a fold and tumble half bench or single back seat? I'd imagine you just need to use the same clamping mechanism as the current back seat except you would add a second post to clamp to in the middle.

I'm no engineer, and certainly not an artist so please excuse this crappy paint drawing. Lets say we just took a standard JK fold and tumble rear seat and chopped it in half leaving the bottom latching portion intact. Basically just hollowing out the left half of the seat. Idk, I just want a single roll and tumble seat haha.

Google wrangler third row seat. I've seen images of exactly what you're looking for.

Thank you for your response, but those are both examples of JKU's with 3rd row seats. I just want a single seat to replace the rear bench in my 2 door.

So I've been working with a company called "Little Passenger Seats". They make a kit for a rear/side facing small fold up seat for the JKU. They assured me as long as there is a 27" by 1.5" length of space between driver and passenger sides of the rear area (to mount the bracket under the jeep) than the seat can be used for the 2 door. They say they have never done it before though. Here is a link to the JKU version Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 07-12

Here is an example of the seat in a JKU

What do you guys think?
