Yup, seen that before.....pretty slick! But something tells me it won't work with a back-up cam I'm looking to install.....

So where do you get the parts list?

This does prove that career firefighters have too much time on their hands. Thank goodness!

That is awesome!! If I ever get a JK I might consider doing that. All his items he has for it looks cool too, where all the controls are mounted. Nice job!

It is neat, but I have never found the need for 100 degree bacteria filled water.

I think that's pretty awesome. Tons of uses unless you just mall crawl. Clearly, he doesn't.

I would not use it for drinking except in a serious survival situation, however it would be great for short showers after getting out of the surf. Nothing worse than salt chrystals on your back for the drive home.

Legionella pneumophila, can pop up in windshield fluid, it sure as hell can pop up in that rear bumper tank 10 times worse. Unless it will be used constantly e.g within hours of filling it up, I would not dare come close to that water in a warm day if its been there long. Unless it has bactericide or small amounts of chlorine, similar to a pool.

Could you add water additives to keep the water clean? Or just drain it ever night...

Water purification tablets, a few drops of bleach or a UV purifier will make the water drinkable in an emergency. It would also be awesome to use as a camping shower or even wash off fresh mud from a trail run before it solidifies into concrete.

So how is this different from the plastic tanks that millions of RVers use for potable water?

I wouldn't drink the water out of the bumper unless I new it was made from plastic safe for drinking but it would be just fine for a camp shower etc.
