Soft top

I just scored a factory soft top from a 2011 that was never used for $200!

Now, it only came with the windows and drivers and passengers side door surrounds. What else do I need to complete the setup?

Thanks,

By the way, I have a 2013 unlimited

I'm not home at this moment.

I have the soft top, frame, back window, side windows, both front and rear door surrounds and rear tailgate bracket. I know I need the roll bar brackets but unsure of what else?

Not sure what is used to hold the door surrounds down to the roll bar

You will need a few knobs to tighten down on the trim surrounds and two clips on the back for the rear bar

Ok, I got the four long bolts, rear tailgate bar brackets and the screws that hold the frame to the roll bar bracket. I just ordered the two smaller bolts and the roll bar brackets. Hopefully this should now complete the soft top

There's a lot of good information in https://www.wranglerforum.com/f274/so...lp-563993.html.

Specifically read post 1 and find the links to the posts/threads about what parts/pictures are needed.

So I have a 2013 and bought the roll bar brackets for my year. Since the top is from 2011, should I have bought the brackets for that year since they changed in 2013? I hope I bought the correct brackets

Sorry. If you'd checked that post in Soft Top HELP you'd have seen you needed to buy the brackets for the year of the TOP, not the year of the JEEP.

Hopefully they will allow you to return the 2013 brackets and get the 2011s instead.

200 bucks?!!
I'm not helping with stolen goods!
Just kidding, I am jealous. I can't find one for under nearly new prices, so I have no experience, but I've been reading these threads trying to learn what to look for on used tops.

Yeah, I was out driving my wife around to garage sales and this guy approaches me and said he has a soft top for sale. I asked him how much and he replied," I was gonna put in on eBay for $400 but if you want it now I will take $200. SOOOO, I said hell yes!

Did you win anything on the lottery ticket you bought on the way home? Haha!

Good for you. I'm holding out for a deal or I'm going to buy new. I know someone that sources used car parts, and has dealer connections and so far has come up with the same: overpriced or junk tops. I'll keep looking/saving.
