In the market for a soft top that windows do not have to be removed to fold down top. I prefer option of windows when top is up. Do any manufactures offer such a top?
If you mean fold it back for the sunrider, then no, other than the back window for highway speeds to let the air flow through. I just unzip mine and lay it down inside, leaving the tailgate bar attached which works perfect. To fold it all the way down, the windows have to be removed.
Neither of the factory tops are designed to be fully opened without removing the rear window panels.
FYI. I think the Sunrider option of the factory top is pretty nice and easy. It opens up past the front and rear seats of a JKU. In probably 30 seconds I can have it open or closed. Great option on a rainy day or for someone who wouldn't want to pull the windows. Might be an option for you. Are you just looking for ease of use?
Yes. looking for ease of use. In 2008, rented a new Jeep Wrangler while vacationing, soft top, able to pull complete top back (to tail gate) without removing side or rear window. Nothing like this offered in 2013?
Even on the 08, you're supposed to remove the 3 rear windows if you want it fully open. You might be able to fold it back with the windows intact, but you're going to damage the windows.
The sun rider position is the only option if you don't want to remove the windows.
