Soft top question?

Hey guys, so I just bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Altitude Edition. It came with a soft top I'm assuming came with the package purchase from the factory. I'm looking to sell it, but in the info sheets, the owners manual and on the actual soft top it has no indication as to what kind of soft top it is, only how to install. I have researched the prices and there are so many that range from $500-$15,000. All I want to know is how much my soft top is worth. Any ideas?

With a 2014 model you probably have the premium soft top. Compare the fabric to the attached picture. The darker one is the premium top. If you do indeed have the premium top it's worth considerably more money. Check Craigslist near you to get an idea of price range. In my area a complete premium top runs anywhere from $900-1,100. Good luck!

I paid $1,000 Canadian for a brand new factory tinted premium soft top on craigslist a couple of months ago, it was a take off from a 2014 Rubicon, not sure I would have paid more.

Tinted sell for a bit more than the clear.

I have seen some used ones go for as lost as $400 and some people asking more than $1000. These are all Canadian dollars.

Keep the soft top. Sell the hard top!

Hard tops can be nice, but also a hassle. (I have a premium soft top) but considered a hard top for winter. Hard tops are nice. Winter especially. Easier to get into the back and get stuff. Summer, nice day, you just drop the soft top. Rain, quickly pu it back up ifna pop up hits. Hard top on or off. When off, storage is a big thing. Not small, not light. But for security reason, it's all the same. Break glass windows or cut plastic windows. If/when I have the $$$ and space and find a good deal, I may buy one. Got a buddy that just got the nx pro, (new one with tempered rear window). Looks friggin awesome, and he said its the best top he's had. Soft, premium soft top, and hard top.

The premium top is easy to recognize. It is a deeper black, softer fabric that looks like a really high quality brushed canvas. All high end convertibles use a similar fabric. The original fabric is a sail cloth that has a more synthetic nylon feel. No doubt the newer premium top is nice and maybe even quieter but IMO the the original one is tougher.
