Spare tire holder capacity

Does anyone know if I will have any trouble down the road with a 33x12.50r15 duratrac mounted on the back? Just don't want to tear anything up. I searched other threads and couldn't find what I was looking for. Thanks in advance.

No you shouldn't. I have the same tire with MB72 rims and they are the same if not a little lighter in weight than the stock tire/rim. I would replace the rubber bumpers though to dampen vibration. If I remember correctly the stock ones aren't long enough to reach the new tire.

Too much weight for that little door. The hinges will suffer. Spend the money and get a new bumper. Or don't get big tires.

Standard Sahara 18" rim + Bridgestone Dueler = 67 lbs

MB72 15x8 rim = 20 lbs
33x12.5x15 Duratrac = 49 lbs

You're fine. For the record, the manual says that the maximum weight hung on the tailgate including the spare wheel should not exceed 50 lbs, then they hang a 67 lbs spare on it.
