Spiderweb Shades on Anvil

Which color should I get? Grey, Black or Red? I would love to see one with Grey to see if it looks Anvil or if it will contrast. I know decisions decisions. Life is good!

Thanks,

Newcastle

Funny I have a 15' jku anvil Willys and I am torn between the same colors. Also not sure of the spider or the dirtydawg shade.

I played it safe and went black. I do think gray would look good. I'm having hat debate with my trek armor seat covers now.

I have the same and will do black only....call me boring but I want a subtle look. Vey interested in which one you pic. That's where I'm torn. The DD fits better but lets in too much sun. I get sunburned on overcast days.

Another one to consider. Rugged Ridge Eclipse. Fits well has pretty good reviews, doesn't need the header channel and can stay installed with both hard and soft tops.....and priced well at $65 :

I just ordered one.

My Jeep is commando green and looks good with black accents so I went with black. Very understated color combination.

On my wife's billet Jeep she went with orange and I love the bright color contrast. I wish I could do something like that with mine but I can't figure it out.

With anvil I think red just pops as an accent color. That is what I would do.

I have a black (just the front) SW shade and black SW door skins on my Anvil, but strongly considered the gray. I could not find any pictures with gray so I played it safe, but would love to see someones Jeep with the gray. I was afraid the gray might be too light and SW shades says the black is the coolest. Texas in August can be brutal.

I have a picture of the SW door skins, but none with top SW shade top showing.

Now I am between the rugged ridge eclipes and the spider.
Rugged ridge is more cost effective, but does it shade as much?

Also what if I use either only in the rear and second row, will that work, this was the kids are protected and I get some sun...

Are you referring to the Spiderwebshade here? No header channel needed and I never uninstall mine and use both hardtop and soft top.

No. I'm referring to the Rugged Ridge Eclipse and the link to it I posted as well.

I get that but the spider web shade is their direct competitor so not sure why they're bothering to post those specifics

And it comes in Black or if you do a special request it comes in Black. Sooooo it doesn't help with my original question, which color. I am leaning towards red.

That Red does look good with the Anvil top off. How do you like the Red inside when your top is on?

I had a hard time deciding, but from the picture above the Gray would be a little too light for me, but the Red does show a better contrast with the top off. I have the Black and it does what it is supposed too, but it does make my Jeep look like the top is still on from the outside. I like the black from the inside with the top on and not sure about the Red. Just the front SW Shade like I have is not too expensive and I might get a Red one and just try it out, but I think I will stick with the SW Black Skins for the Tube Doors.

Thanks for posting pictures everyone. There are a lot of ways to express yourself with these SW Shades/Skins. Stay cool and enjoy your shades.

It's fine when the top is on. It just looks red that's all. I think it improves the look of the top on. I have the standard soft top with that ashy gray color. Now I can't see that. SWS doesn't interfere with operation of the sunrider and looks good with just the front flipped too. Sorry I don't have any other pics of it.

I went Dirty Dog 2 pc (black) and love them. I wanted to make sure the kids were covered at all times while still having the option to go totally open upfront.

To be honest, I've never removed the front so maybe a 1 pc would've been fine, however I didn't like the way those humped over the soundbar, maybe my ocd kicking in a bit.

I did the same thing with 2 spiderweb jkini's on mine that way I could take the front off and leave the kids covered.

My Rugged Ridge Eclipse arrived from Amazon today. Put on tonight. Very nice tight fit and well worth the $65.
