SpiderWebShade

I read quite a few posts about the different brands of web shades and I decided to go with the SpiderWebShade and I'm glad I did.

Since I have a Crush, going with the orange was a no brainer.

Toughest part was installing the 2 rear corner straps. I used a spring hook and a hook on the end of a bungee cord and it went on fairly easy.

Does that just cover the front? I was thinking about getting a full one. Same color and all. I think this would be a good Father's Day gift.

I went with the JKini which is just over the front seats. They use the Trail Mesh on those which seems VERY durable.

I bought one a year ago after getting my JKUR and haven't used it yet (3 shoulder surgeries and awaiting a total replacement keep me from doing a lot!). I'm going to pay a few neighborhood teenagers to remove my hard top so I can get this thing on and use the soft top till fall. My little ones can't wait to get it on and use the Jeep as intended. Love the color match top on yours. Enjoy.

Thanks, it's been a PITA for sure, but it could have been worse. I'm lucky (insert missing American Flag emoticon).

in your kit, did it come with 3 small spiderballs and 8 large ones? (their website says that's what's SUPPOSED to come with the jkini)

for some crazy reason, mine came with 3 small, 2 medium, and 6 large. the medium sized ones I can't seem to make work in any spot :l

I used the medium ones for the middle of the sides over the seats. The 6 long ones in each corner and the screw holes in the back. The 3 short ones in the front.

How does this top fair (sound, flapping around, durability, etc.) when driving highway speeds i.e. interstate? A major interstate runs right thru the middle of my town and I am on it several times a day going to/from work and home and other places.

I put one on my JKU and drove the 250 round trip to Jeep Beach with no issues. I realy like it and with the top up its like another layer of insulation. Great bang for the buck.

X2.

I got one at jeep beach too and LOVE it. No problems on the highway at all.

Some have attached the shade to their soundbar with bolts through the freedom top holes. I did this with eyebolts to have a place to attach my dogs leashes.
