Strange Intermittent Problem

Hi All,

2015 JKWW.... For the last several weeks I've had an intermittent problem that happens every few days, but just once.........

I'll be driving in the morning for about 15min, when all of a sudden the dash bell goes off, the ABS, BRAKE and Traction control warning lights come on. At the same time, the audio system cuts out and the dash lights start flickering while the jeep seems to lose power.

Lasts for maybe 1-2 seconds, the everything goes back to normal and it won't reappear for a couple or 3 days.

Just the kind of problem that dealer visit will never re-create! My first thought was some sort of ABS sensor problem, but why would the audio cut out and the dash lights start flickering?

Anyone have a similar experience????

That really sounds like some kind of intermittent power ground problem. The vibration of driving probably triggers the fault.

Find where those system's power gets to ground, make sure there's no corrosion, and tighten all connections.

I would start by making sure the battery cables are tight and then checking grounds. How long has it been doing this?

Check the negative battery cable and make sure it is fastened tight. I had the same problem and it was due to that cable coming loose
