suggestions on tires?

Im in the market for new tires and dont know which ones to get, I do a little bit of off roading but nothing crazy, this is also my DD. I dont want them to wine like crazy on the highway but I still want that aggressive look. Can anyone help me?

I have 35" nito mt and I love them. Very little road noise and look super aggressive.

I have 3 suggestions:

Goodyear Duratrac
BFG all terrain
Yokohama geolandar AT-S

I have the yokos and I love them. I have 35k on them right now and about 60% left on them. They are great for what I do which is mainly wooded trails, rock crawling, and not too much deep mud. I also manage 19-20mpg highway which is good for my DD. great in the snow too

Nittos are good tires, not arguing that, but those can tend to lean more to the heavy side especially in their MTs

The Toyo Open Country M/T is a bit on the heavy side but performs and wears very well (80k on my last set with 25% left). They also look awesome.

no noise, offroad capable, light as duratracs, priced very reasonable, and 50k for LT, 65k for P metric warranty.

Hankook Dynapro RF10, Toyo AT2, or Goodyear DuraTrac. These are all solid ATs that are pretty quiet. The MTs will be louder and the Toyo MTs are really heavy too. I run GY MTR Kevlars but I will only run tires with tough sidewalls (3-ply usually) and they do have a whine/hum above 40 mph. Not as bad as many though. If you want a quiet and light MT, I think the KM2s are decent in the noise department but I am speaking from KM experience on my stock Rubicon.

Where does everyone buy their tires? Online or in a local store. My '10 came with BFG Mud Terrain, they don't seem to make any road noise that I can hear (maybe I should turn the stereo down). Just looking at the cost to replace.... wow.

Always local - Discount Tire. Nobody seems to be able to meet their prices.

I buy from a local tire guy. He's a family friend and is great. Great prices, and will rebalance for free for the life of the tire, will plug any tires for free and will give me his truck when he works on mine.

He even rebalanced all of my girlfriends tires that she bought from the dealer and said it was free but I insisted on paying him

I like the Nitto Terra Grapplers. Especially since I'm using my stock wheels with no lift. Good mild off road tire, and still great for DD. Low road noise and good in rain.

x2 on Duratracs, though I'd also look into Kelly Safari TSR.

You can get just about anything on eBay for less. Just make sure the seller is legit.
