Supercharger

Any ideas on a supercharger for my
2011 Jk 3.8L? I saw a 1978 cj7 with a sweet system and suddenly got the urge to upgrade mine with a supercharger.

Ripp is the industry leader for the JK. They're also a forum vendor here, so you could send them a PM.

There are others too--Sprintex just launched one, hesco, avenger, etc.

They're all in the $4k to $5k range, depending on features and brand.

However, if you have an auto transmission, you really should look at regearing first. That'll increase your applied horsepower/torque by 20% or so for $1200 to $2k.

With our applications you need to look at tq not go. Wonder why diesel cars get such great mpg or why jeep guys that off road gear low, race cars on short/ curvy tracks run lower gears? It's bc of tq.
