Superchips Flashcal F5 Question

I am trading my 2017 JK in for a 2020 JLUR. My question, should I return the Jeep to stock and keep the Flashcal (won't work for the 2020 JLUR) or keep the JK set with settings for the tire size (35 in) and the gears (4.88s) and leave the Flashcal in the Jeep? I know I could leave it flashed and keep the Flashcal myself but then the flashcal will be useless to anyone. My thoughts are...
1. the dealership can flash it to the right settings and I can sell the flashcal. (won't work for the JL) . 2. If I leave in the JK, the dealership or someone else can swipe it but I feel that's the right thing to do since I won't need it anymore and the new buyer might be smart enough to use it....
Also, if I return it to stock and drive it to the dealership (about 10 miles) will that hurt anything? And at that point should I tell the dealership that the JK needs to be set to the right setting? Or I could leave a piece of tape placed over the OBD port telling whom ever looks under the dash what the correct setting are and don't say anything.... (I'll probably use the Jscan on my new JLUR)

When the settings are wrong for the tires the speed is off but also the odometer. I'd leave it set correct for that reason so that you can say "it has been flashed to the correct tire size from the time the tires were put on". That way there is no odometer fraud issues that could crop up with either you or the dealer selling it. Not a huge thing that most would catch but I was able to get a hefty amount of $$ back from a dealer when I found the speed was off by 12 MPH on the jeep they sold me. Basically I argued they sold me a vehicle where the odometer could be up to 10K off.

I've always left them with the Jeep.
Since you've changed gears, in addition to the tire size, I'd recommend leaving it. If it's an auto I suspect the Jeep won't even drive without it.

If you have 4.88 gears and you return it to stock you will go into limp mode, probably not something you want to do if you are trading it it...

I would leave it in the Jeep.
Like others have said, set that back to stock and your Jeep will go into limp mode with '88's

Thank everyone, Looks like it stays with the jeep.
Looking forward to building my new 2020 JLUR!
