Terraflex Leveling Kit install costs

What is a good price to install the Terraflex Leveling Kit? Best I've been quoted is $375.

Thanks!

Not sure but that seems extremely high. I did mine in the driveway with the stock jack and a couple of jack stands and it only took a couple of hours

Me too. Did it this past weekend. Fairly easy, just time consuming.

Too bad you aren't in my part of the country. I'd gladly show you how to install it for a couple beers and a bag full of burritos.

Once you've done a few Jeep lifts its a breeze and you can install a couple front spacers in about 20 minutes.

Find a buddy and give him a case of beer. It took us 1.5hrs and cost me $40 for the beer (good beer).

Don't be afraid of it, get a buddy or or three and dig in.

This is probably a pretty basic question, but it'll be my first foray into messing with the suspension. I just installed 1.5" spacers when I went to 33" tires. Am I going to need to remove the spacers to install this kit?

Join a local Jeep club (look on your State's forum page on this site) and either attend a wrenching party or host one. Fellow Jeepers will help you install for beer and pizza! Plus by working on your rig you'll learn a lot about it and the suspension components. Good Luck!

The TF leveling kit is a spacer lift placed above the spring. I know their spacers can be stacked but I don't think they are compatible with other brand spacers.

But was your 1.5 spacer a spring spacer or a body spacer?

You'll have to replace the front ones with the TF pucks. Or just use one TF puck on each side (if compatible with the current pucks) up front and have 2.5 inches of lift instead of 2. And you can leave the ones in the rear if you like the way it sits after doing the front.

When I had the TF leveling kit installed I actually had 3 one inch pucks up front on each side and removed the OEM isolater. In the rear I had the TF 1 inch pucks installed. This leveled out my rig.

Are you talking about wheel spacers? If so, they can stay on the hub. Wheels will need to be removed, but the spacers can stay on.

Do it yourself. I put it off for a few weeks because I've never messed with suspension either, but once I decided to go ahead and do it and replace the shocks at the same time I was surprised just how easy it turned out to be.

I referenced a really good video by CPO who shows a technique that involves only having to jack up one side at a time:

Should have clarified; yes, wheel spacers. Good to know. Think I'll try to tackle the install this weekend, then. Thanks.

Is a full computerized alignment done after the install? Thats usually $75-$100. If so than the true cost would be $275-$300 as you really should do one afterwards.

I just finished this install. I'm not in any way mechanically inclined but was able to get it done. It took me about 5 hours, taking my time. What a pain the rear spacers are. The front is a breeze. My biggest challenge was jacking up high enough to get the rear springs back in.

agree with most everyone here. It's pretty easy..need a good floor jack or two, some blocks and car stands and if course wrenches/sockets.

Cpo's video is good. There is also one on the Teraflex website...

Go for it.

I got a quote for $200 to install the TF leveling kit from a local Jeep shop. I plan on doing it myself though with a buddy helping.
