What help or advice do you need?

You'd sign up for Tread Lightly to maximize the discount on your new purchase, sell or trade-in your current jeep, and spend/lose a few thousand dollars in the process.

Worth it? Up to you. Have you driven a 2012?

What if you kept the 2011 a couple years and bought a 2013 or 2014? They'll work some bugs out by those models. I bought a 2012 and will say the upgraded engine/trans is impressive but if I owned a 2011 I'd stick with it for a while. I don't think you'll find the 2012 that much more fun to drive (not worth losing thousands over)
