Tune for tire change is a safety must

So I bought my JK 17 with 29 inch tires with the plan to change them ASAP. Check previous posts for pics.

I decided to drive it with my 34x12 tires without a computer tune first. Then with a tune for 34s.

My surprise was not the speedometer fix or the up shift points for my automatic transmission.

My shock was the difference in braking effectivness.

When I braked with my stock tune and new big 34" tires the transmission acted like it was in neutral. It did not seem to want to downshift and slow down.

After I told my JK Wrangler with my tuner I had 34s the deceleration effectiveness was night and day. Noticeable better braking effectiveness.

This is your life and the drivers around you lives

For under $200 if you can afford big tires then tuning your JK is a must IMHO.
