I just installed mine. I opted to wire it into the rear 12 volt power plug ( ie cigarette lighter plug) at the base of the roll bar in back.

The plug is live all the time so I wired a rocker switch right next to it and I put the remote control sensor on the hard top just to the right in pic.

Now when I open the back I can switch the light on even without the key on accessory. I can still use the remote to vary the brightness also.

EZ install. Caveat, I opened a door long enough for the interior lights to go out. I was too lazy to pop off the negative post of the battery. Total time, 30 minutes, instructions were clear. I leave the light at 100% brightness, now I can see everthing in the back end of the jeep.

Don't own it, but saw they're sponsoring an event I'm attending and definitely haven't see this before. It allows you to pivot the soundbar so you can direct your music towards you at the beach or other events

I am not ready to trade my 2014 for a JL right now, but I can make you do a double take as we drive past each other and

Rostra Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU LED Daytime Running Light System!

This is the next mod on my list.

Those lights plus the JL Grille Kit for the JK would really make people do a double-take...

The JL Grille Kit for the JK isn't a product yet though.

Nicely done!

I also just installed one of these lights and wired it into the dome light per the instructions. Too bright for me, even @ 50%, so want to also tie into a hot wire somewhere in the back. I am not fortunate to have the rear power plug and the vendor (who's install instructions were very good) cannot give me an idea or alternative inside the vehicle.

Any help in finding a hot wire inside at the roll bar or wiper housing?

Thanks,

ACE JK Lava Jacket

I just ordered this for my wife today. It'll keep her warm on those summer evenings when I have the top down but the temp dips below 65 degrees.

If I'm not mistaken the wires for the rear axillary outlet is still ran to the back even if you don't have that option, just need to add the fuse and socket. I'll see if I can find the thread that talks about it.

I hope this makes sense, that's the reason I used that line to wire mine.

There's no firm plan at this point. If all goes according to plan then by the end of next week the first grilles will be coming out of the mold and the next step after that is some test installs.

This on board air delivery system is unique because it's new to the market:

Up Down Air

The power goes through my sPOD. Air supplied by my ARB twin compressor. All four tires deflated/inflated at the same time.

I like the look of these, but the price is a bit high.

I like this but do not like splicing into factory harness. Is this a plug and play or do you have to cut wires?

I got this truss bracket from Pro Sound and Stage Lightning. It works great for securing a shovel. Comes in different sizes and appears to be made of billit aluminum. 200 pound strength too.

It's super easy, you just use two of those little splice connectors that you squeeze together to 2 existing wires on the rollbar. I can't think of what they're called right now, but they come with the kit.

Whatever these are called
