Unique Products Thread: Please Share!

My favorite type of Jeep mods are the ones that aren't widely heard of. I love stumbling upon unique Jeep mods on the internet that are also useful. If anyone has any mods they have, or know of that aren't widely known or by smaller companies please post them!

Done Right LED rear window trunk light

https://donerightled.com/collections...dome-light-bar

I recently found these guys on facebook and bought their rear window trunk light, super easy to install and really great at lighting up the trunk area!

My favorite would have to be the JeepUniq mic mounts:

https://jeepuniq.com/collections/jee...p-jk-2011-2017

all made out of plastic instead of metal like all others (so less likely to injure someone) and available in a ton of configurations

I wish someone made something between the two. I want something flexible like the nets for putting oddly shaped things in, but the nets sag too much.

Seems good. What do you do when you take the hard top off and put the soft top on?

It comes with a small plug that you disconnect and the light stays with the hard top. Super easy to install and you honestly don't even notice the light until its on.

Not sure how unheard of this is, but Papys Jeep makes a pretty cool sunroof replacement for the freedom tops. A few jeeps big on social media have their sunroof installed. It slides and tilts with a push of a button like a normal sunroof would

I guess their website is down rn, but plenty of pictures on their facebook page.

If I wasn't planning on doing the rebel offroad blackout kit i'd definitely want these!

Idk if this counts as unique since a lot of people run this blackout kit, but

I got this a couple weeks back. Very bright and really easy to install. My only negative thing about this light is that it turns off when the interior lights turn off since itís wired to the cargo light.

Not exactly functional, but I put some fun stickers in my Willys. An "Ejection" sticker on my driver's side seat lever, silly off-road warning stickers that look like and cover the standard warning stickers on the visors, and mode stickers on the unused buttons in front of the gear shift: "Submarine," "Pirate," "Nuclear" and "Invisible."

Always good for a laugh when I have a passenger who hasn't ridden in my rig before.

Got them from Pixie Decals.

I saw a spare tire cover the other day with upside down writing: "If you can read this, flip me over"

I emailed them a while ago and he says some people get a second plug and a 12v adapter for the cig lighter back there and just switch the little plug over to the 12v cig plug when they want it to stay on.

I'm actually in the process of adding a switch back there so it comes on when I flip the switch instead of when I open the trunk. I'll post about it whenever I get to doing it. Agreed though, I usually need it for longer than it stays on.

I just didn't like the fact that it needed a battery. I figured it'd be easier/cheaper/more light per dollar to wire the done right led to a switch in the trunk

This is the one I was referring to in my last post. Seems it is rebranded by at least 4 other retailers. For less than 20 bucks and Amazon you can mod your current OEM window housing with equal or better results. Just seems a little steep for what you get. However it looks OEM and takes 1 minute to install. The $50 just seems soo much more BANG for your buck, site unseen ( i just ordred it today!). Will definitely wire this to a switch in the cargo area!

Itís made by Frontrunner. I like it a lot. Well made but it does make a little noise going over bumps.
