US made Bumper

I'm looking for a full width bumper with D ring shackles and a winch mount. Stinger not desirable but fine if fairly vertical (parking space is important). A receiver tube would be awesome but not required. Prefer more level ends offer high clearance.

The short story is I wrecked my last JK and the plastic stock bumper caved on the corner impact pushing the tire into the frame. It was totaled for what should have been a minimal damage collision. If the bumper was steel id still be driving it today.

Everything I've found online is made in China. If that all I have to choose from fine, but if there is a US made bumper that fits my request, I'll buy it if it's not $$$$.

Look up @Rock Hard 4x4 - their bumpers are all USA. Your choice of Aluminum or Steel (I went Aluminum) and flat or recessed winch mounts. Dont know your budget, but their steel bumpers are VERY reasonably priced.

I went with a 5/32" steel chinese? bumper from extreme terrain (vendor on here). I've been very happy with the bumper, especially for the price. I didn't plan on getting a new bumper until a Tahoe punted a truck bed liner across the interstate into my stock plastic bumper. I went the quick and inexpensive replacement, but I have been very satisfied with it. I just drilled and tapped it last week for a forward camera.

Big fan of the AEV bumpers, well made, coated well, strong and not overly heavy. Not the most inexpensive though. If you hunt you can find some takeoffs.

You're gonna get a hundred answers, lol. I went with Ace Engineering and Fab for my bumpers. They are stout.

Rock Hard, Warrior Products, JCR, to name a few.

Googling "Jeep bumpers made in usa" should yield plenty more results.

OR-fab is American made and has something that may fit your requirements. I had one out on last year. Decent price and good quality.

Hyline Off Road. Made in the USA out of 3/16 inch steel, great powder coat, full width, includes a winch plate which you can mount or not, You can also get a skid plate and a bull bar. Google Hyline off-road and they have a site that shows you the process of making the bumpers. I have front and rear bumpers, skid plate and bull bar. The bumper also has a place to mount a front license plate if you need one, that was one of the main considerations for this bumper verse another USA made bumper. They allow you to mount your factory fog lights without extending the wires. Quadratec sells them and you can buy directly from their plant. They have been in business for several years.

LoD. Made in Indiana. Happy with my full width and the folks there were great. Answered all my questions. It will take a beating and, well, take another beating.

I'm a fan of Full Metal Fabworks - link below. Saw this first on the Bruzer build thread (which is completely sick) - the apex pinnacle stubby bumper looks awesome

One thing I look at prior to design are the welds. Agree with @CT16Rubi ... FMF has one of the nicest welds on their bumpers.

I had never heard of JCR Offroad, but just spent an hour or so poking around their site. Very impressive looking line up, adding to the list for potential future mods. Nice build you have going, btw!

Thanks. It's had it's ups and downs, but I can't wait to see how well it performs on the trails this year. I love my JCR stuff. There are LOTS of good manufacturers out there. JCR is definitely one of them.

I've met and kinda become "friends" with the owners and a few of the employees. They are stand up guys.

I've got my eyes on their rear bumper & tire carrier. The adventure one I believe it's called.

Rock Hard 4x4 make awesome products. I have a full set of their aluminum skids and winch mount plate. Saving for the aluminum full width bumper. The only downside is it sometimes takes time to get their products - the seem to be very busy.....

The wait is always worth it. I have JCR bumpers front and rear and I wouldn't trade getting some weak china junk faster and cheaper for these. They cost a bit more and take a bit of extra time but it's totally worth it in the end and though I don't have any of their products, Rock Hard is excellent too. When my rear bumper was made, the president of JCR posted a pic of it to my Facebook. Good luck getting one of the chinese companies to do that. haha

Wow, nice bumpers! And the aluminum one won't break the bank or weigh down the front! I hope to order one of these in the next few months.
