I haven’t been there in two years. I’m anxious to go again now that I’ve installed a leveling kit and 33 inch tires.

I have a stock 2011 Sport 2dr with 285/70/17, are there trails that I can do? I'd love to check it out and I'm a noob doing trails. Thanks!

Have you ever been off road before? URE is probably not a good place to learn diving solo.
The main roads are gravel and there is one that goes to Deep Water. Don't know why it is called that, there is no crossing it is just a lake. The Outpost is where many groups meet up before they hit the trails. Jeepers are friendly (mostly) and it is not uncommon for a solo driver to ask to ride with a group. Jeepers United is a good group if you see their banners. If you hit the trails, stay off the 3Ds. Dutch John, Dickie Bell and Daniel. Most other obstacles have paths around the hard stuff. Now if it rains, the roads turn into wet clay and get interesting. Here is a good map I use.

Also air down to 15-17 psi. and disconnect the front sway bar. You can air up at the Outpost.

Thanks. I wouldn't be alone but the two other Jeeps that would go with me are new too. I'll do some more research on it before I commit.

Yes there are lots of Long Easy trails, I went Memorial day weekend and rode each day for 4 hours on the easy trails. So much fun. I saw a flatbed truck taking out broken jeeps out, 2 each day. Dont do those hard trails they will destroy your Jeep. I took my $45 thousand dollar all stock Sahara 4dr, a d had lots of fun and NOT A SCRATCH! LOL

That would be my plan too. I don't have budget to break things.

From the map above, can you name the easy trails?

I go there 4-5 times/year, but if it was my first time I would ride Wolf Den, Slab Pile, Sawmill, and Falls Dam. That should be almost a full day of riding with nothing overly difficult. Very scenic and a lot of fun. I also really like the breakfast at Eldorado Outpost so if you are camping, try to check that out in the morning.
