Vibrating noise when driving

I noticed awhile ago a small vibrating noise when backing out of my driveway, didn't think anything of it. Over time it has become more and more frequent. It now happens when I'm stopped at red-lights, backing out/ pulling in driveway (still), as i first accelerate, and going over some bumps. It sounds like it is either under the hood or behind the dash board, it's hard to pin point. The best way i can describe the sound is like a screw vibrating on a sheet of metal or something like that. Any ideas what it could be or possible fixes BESIDES TURNING UP THE RADIO???!
