Waiting for Hypergreen?

Like the Mojave Sand thread, this is for those of us *patiently* awaiting availability for Hypergreen. What are you all planning to order? For me:

-Unlimited Rubicon
-Manual
-Hardtop
-Heated seats

This will be my first Jeep. I definitely caught the mod bug thanks to this site. I have a lot of parts sitting for me back stateside when I return from overseas in July. Hoping that the 8 weeks or so between order availability and my return is enough time for Toledo to build it!

With the early 2016 production stop you'll only have about a week window when you can order. Plan ahead.

Personally I would need to see the color in person out in the sunlight before I ordered it sight unseen. What if you order it and hate it, lol. Even seeing pics on the web wouldn't be enough for me. I was thinking of waiting to see it but I didn't want to wait 6+ months to order my new Jeep.

What if you procrastinate too long, and it turns out to be the most wonderful Wrangler color ever? You'll see others driving around in Hypergreen, and kick yourself every morning for having to settle for boring beige.

This is great advice. I was dead set on Tank until I saw one in person. Wild colors also suffer at trade in time so you don't want to order one and trade it in 6 months later if you don't like it or get tired of it. Then again life is short and bright colors work well with a jeep if you get unpainted fenders and Hardtop.

I think this will be my 2017 color. My assumption is that it will be similar to gecko.

But as most of us know it won't be the most wonderful color. The most wonderful colors for a dealer are black, white and silver. Those flamboyant colors usually sit on the lot for a long time. Either way OP, get your shit together and don't miss the boat.

I'd go for it . It was the same way when Crush came out in 2012. Many ordered it not knowing exactly what color it actually was. Check out "Crush waiting room" thread on this site. I would do it also because I had enough of Jeeps with the " see myself everyday colors". Mine was orange everything outside and thought it was to much .Then I realized its what sets it apart and to this day gets compliments almost daily. I would bet Hyper will look like the Hills green already out on the Ram which looks great in person. My jeep is a toy and I wanted one of the toy type colors as I call them.

Black, white and silver are the least popular among jeep fans. See my poll results.

What's your point in that comment?

I never said you were wrong. Dealers order what they THINK the public wants. I posted what fans want the most.

HyperGreen was at Moab last year. The Engineers at Jeep had one painted that color. Search the pics, it had half safari doors.

That would be way cool!

Just hold your Wrangler under a light bulb for a few minutes.

Great to finally see a pic (even if rendered)...I'm thinking a body-colored top may be too much...going to stay with the standard black hard top. It will be a nice contrast.

One thing is for certain, it shouldn't be too hard to find in the mall parking lot sea of blacks/silvers/whites...

I've taken the $35 bullet for all of us, and ordered a spray can of hypergreen from paintscratch.com. I'll get it in a few days and paint a large area for all of us to see. I'll post the results here...

I hope this isn't a huge seller here in the Chicagoland area. I like the exclusivity of my Gecko.

My Hypergreen touchup paint came and I sprayed the back side of an old UT license plate I had in the garage. One is outside, the other in the kitchn so you can see it in different lights. The color is awesome. Green, not nearly as yellow as the picture of the dodge dart or the JK earlier in this thread. It's very similar to gecko. I'm going to order it.

Still looks more yellow then green to me on my computer monitor.

This picture was posted on another forum and was said to look like the hypergreen test vehicles on the Toledo assembly line right now.
