Removed the chrome JEEP emblem on the front and replaced with matte black and plastidipped my trail rated badge black! 2 tiny changes but it made all the difference!

Jamie - I've been following that Griffin Attenuator review thread and would be interested to hear your thoughts on driving your rig once you have it installed

I know you weren't directing this at me, but my local Jeep dealership sells them for $15, I believe.

I had some warranty work done on my grill and asked them if they could swap it out for me while they were taking care of the paint job. They did it for free.

The temps spiked to 61, I just got back from a little cruise with the doors off. And you froze at 45 degrees? You poor thing. ;-) :-D

Dang, that's cheap.

OEM ones online are $30-40.

The cheap wrong-sized Chinese knockoffs look horrible with the small offset "P".

As a matter of fact they said the Chrome 'standard' ones were actually more than the matte black ones.

I'll have a update as soon as I get it installed. Probably tomorrow or Thursday. Gotta please the wife first and hang this dang new light up in the bathroom.

Looks great!

Do you have a link to the instructions to do this?

I want to do this with my Hydro Blue once it's delivered.

Upgrades completed - finally (for now)!

Let's see, I've installed these items:

1. JW Speaker 8700J headlights
2. JW Speaker 279 Tail Lights
3. JW Speaker 6145J fogs with HLR plug 'n play wiring (so no splicing)
4. Teraflex 1.5" leveling kit
5. Raceline 17x9 Raptor wheels
6. BF Goodrich KO2's 285/70r17
7. Gorilla splines and locks
8. MOPAR Gas door
9. MOPAR door sills
10. Painted pinch seems black
11. N-Fab steps
12. Safaripal dead pedal
13. MOPAR hood lock
14. Drake offroad black grill inserts (center cut to accommodate hood lock)
15. Applied Fluid film to the undercarriage

Whew, I'm tired now. My wallet's burnin' but I sure love the outcome. The ride appears to be compliant (similar to factory) and looking at the DS, there doesn't appear to be any change in geometry. For now, I have 3 things left to do which are window tinting, alignment, and seat covers.

Meanwhile, here are some before and after pics:

Just installed Drake transfer case shift knob and Drake 6 speed manual shift knob! Very nice to get rid of the chrome! One tug on the old knobs and off they came. 20 minutes is all it took.

Just ordered my rock hard oil skid. Should be here on Thursday. North ridge gave me a deal too good to pass up. Skid isn't fun in the sense of an appearence mod, but should give me a peace of mind to start doing harder trails

NO! They don't cover the entire seem. I was so mad I was convinced they must have sent me some cheap knock-offs at first.

How did you cut the insert for the hood lock? I'm going to be ordering a set her soon and doing the same.

Installed my Ace rock sliders today. I got them because I could place them over my stock Rubi rails and because the wife wanted a step, and because they're American made!

Can't wait for mine to arrive, they're backordered at the moment. I ordered these for the exact same reasons you mentioned.

Snow melted, got things a little muddy

Snow melted, took it out and got things a little muddy. Testing new hitch and spare tire remount. Stock tire mount make it very difficult to tow.

I believe that's factory cut. They started cutting them either in late 2013 or early 2014 I think. I know mine is too early.

Saw a fellow Jeeper at QT last SA. He modified a horse mat (thick) for his pup. Dog has zero issues with losing his footing.
