Just finished installing the ARB 12v compressor behind the tail light.

Wow what a PITA but so worth it in the end.

It felt good reclaiming that lost space back there.

Installed soundbar speakers. Took way longer than I thought. The adapters needed a ton of modifications and I only had a dremel with the sanding attachment. I really need to get some different ones.

Anyway, I knew it wasn't a plug and play job because I wanted different speakers.

Now I need to find time to do the fronts and I am not looking forward to it.

Went out early this morning to take my son to a hockey tournament and my tailgate wouldn't open. Took a while but ended up finding a screw had come out. Not the kind of thing you expect from a year old vehicle.

Finally added my Ace rock sliders today. They came last week after a 10 week backorder. My Willys already had the Rubi rails. Love em!

I drove my Jeep to OBX. I put the top down and waved to every Jeep I saw.

The wave backs were a mixed lot. Other JKU owners tended to wave back. The young lady who stood up in the passenger seat and waved enthusiastically with two hands gets a special shout-out.

Some TJ owners waved some didn't! Can't we all just get along?

@Dmc1 It was an OEM replacement with a new Mopar radiator. I bought the radiator from Quadratec. The old radiator was the original one so it lasted about 9 years.

Nice, I've had my rails for 3 weeks. They were packed poorly and are scratched. Still waiting for ACE to make some more. You'd think Northridge would do more for me than just saying "sorry, you have to wait."

Aww man. Sorry to hear. I gather that Ace are really backed up with orders. Probably not much Northridge can do. However, I got mine through Quadratec, and they were very supportive.

I'm also waiting for decals from one of the popular decal makers. It's been weeks. 🙄

In the last week I traded in my 2013 rock lobster red Sahara for a 2013 rock lobster red Rubicon...

Give it some new (to it) bumpers and rock sliders

And installed 35" tires

4" of lift

And an Alpine Restyle 9" display

I installed a rear seat recline kit. The bolts in the middle were a PITA to install with the spacers! I highly recommend this to anyone who transports people in the back seat of their JKU. It's amazing how much comfort is I proved by reclining the rear seat an inch or twi!

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, these are just blind spot mirrors. They are not as good as a real side mirror but better than nothing.

The PITA part for me was getting the 3 bolts out that are under the seat. I had to take the Jeep to a shop and have them use the air impact to get them out.

The Apollointech system from Amazon. Just over 2 hours for that and the KC lights on the front, and I was back to sitting in the shade.

Smile Swapped Out a damaged bumper and added LED Fogs

Well, between March and May I had two mishaps with my JK and it was time to replace the front bumper. I spent days researching front bumpers and after much consternation on the Mega Front Bumper thread I thought the money I was going to spend on a high end steel bumper would be better spent on radiant heating for my bathroom floor.

So, I went on Craig's List and picked up a "Like New" OEM bumper for a song and a dance. While I was at it, I added Quadratec LED Fog Lights to the bumper before the install. My boy is back to looking good as new....

I installed a 67 design phone mount/arm. I'm really liking it, very sturdy and holds my iPhone well. Feels very well made... Though there price was not cheap, I was not a fan of the other options like the rugged ridge mount or some of the cheap Amazon options. Definitely overkill for a phone mount, but I like it a lot.

Grab Handles

I installed the Wild Boar Grab bars in the front as soon as the real cold winter weather broke.

Today I installed these really cool grab handles in the back. GP Grip by GPCA.
