Smashed up my race bike at the track a few weeks back and the last part to fix was the bent exhaust pipe.

Solution: wedge the pipe under my tire and use it as a lever to straighten the pipe back out.

...another found use for a Jeep. Exhaust pipe de-benderer!

I installed my Vector OffRoad GGB Cargo Basket today. Took over two hours in the 101 degree heat. LOTS of re-hydration breaks. Super happy with this investment.

Pulled out the superchips flashcal and double checked the tire setting. Measured the tires and went through the recalibration process again just to make sure. Had the bright flashing lights behind me today coming home from work. County sheriff clocked me at 76 coming down a hill and then clocked me again at 75 as we passed (I wasn't going to argue the downhill momentum with a tailwind bit). Cruise was set at 70 (in a 65). He was easy going about it. No ticket but I got a sweet sheriff's department ink pen out of the deal!

I cut a hole in the panel under my steering wheel and put my ARB switch there. I was thinking about an A-pillar mount, but I don’t have lots of other switches for lights, lockers, etc. I kind of like it being somewhat inconspicuous anyway.

Great idea, do keep in mind that heat will affect the strength of magnets, depending on the type of neodium magnet you got, some types have a maximum operating temperature that may lose magnetazation in the engine compartment.

I have 2x cyclones in the engine bay but I used the supplied screws to mount.

When I upgraded to bigger tires, I didn't bother with measuring the tire to program the superchips. I just drove it and compared the speedometer to the GPS and kept adjusting the setting until it was accurate. In the end, IIRC, it was quite a bit off from the calculated diameter of the tire, but I know it's right!

I measured the tire diameter at the pressure I use and programmed it with that. It is dead on with my GPS now. No issues.

That's how i did mine previously and again today. I've drove with it set that way for quite awhile with no cop issues. Probably just right place, right time (for him) mixed with the tailwind and downhill speed gain.

Like it a lot! Was this something pre-cut? Did the bumps/tiedowns/hinges come off for the install? Looks great!

Believe me if I can do it anyone can. And yes just remove stock one and then measure the adjustable one. And then install and adjust.

Yes .. the vinyl is pre-cut .. I just exacto knifed the excess paper and got to the closest I could possibly get to the actual vinyl .. yes the hinges n bumps need to come off .. ensure you use allot of soap n water when handling it .. you can get the vinyl from Quadratec ..

Cool, thanks. I added some vortex generators to my hard top to do just that.

Thanks!!! I had it aligned at the tire shop yesterday morning so I've only had it a day (post leveling kit). So far so good with nothing noticeable to me. I also took it up to 75mph on the interstate this morning that felt normal as well. Kevin.
