No rattles so far. It's in there pretty tight and the tracks the drawer is on are solid. And the bonus is this one is cheaper.

Just pick it up from the dealer. Got the axle seal replaced under warranty. They were awesome, no questions asked.

Look like stock JK tail lights. TJ has the reverse lights at the top. So its a JK

Ah, good catch! I’ve been looking at the fenders and the tie in to the step.

Either way is fine. I just know that I won't keep them clean. Dirty raised white letters don't look great.

Changed oil and filter, also engine air filter today on my JKU.

Did the same thing to my Golf-R, and after that I mowed the grass. My body now regrets all the work today.

Added a Springtail-MPAC Gen II

Wanted a tailgate table that could also carry a few necessities. Easy to install, and along with the Quick-Fist attachments, provides a great platform fo consolidating your kit.

Springtail delivered a very high quality product (new to the JK platform and have bought my share of junk in the last 180 days) that works great. Couldn’t be happier.

Hey El Burro, can you go into a bit of detail regarding your accessories? I'd love to get a high quality extendable shovel and that one looks pretty nice!
BTW, I have that same Springtail shelf on my JKU and every time I use it I think about what a great product it is!

Sure!

Ordered the Quick-fists, Bond LH015 Mini D Handle Shovel, Maglite ML 300 from Amazon... along with a MyFAK first aid kit that’s not here yet... hence the space on the left. The Fiskars hatchet I picked up at my local Ace Hradware in Scott’s Valley, CA. $22 bucks. I have a Fiskars F15 but it was a little big with the shovel.

Can't be a JK... windshield is folded down and anyone who owns a JK knows that's not worth the effort. Plus no big Muffler behind the axle. LOL

Slapped on some boots just in time for our Canadian winter. These are 315/70R17 BFG AT T/A KO2s on Pro Comp Rock Crawlers Series 97 (4.25 BS, -19 OS). Center caps are on order.

I'm a fan of the new stance, not so much the lack of clearance between the wheels and fenders. Will likely go for a leveling kit next, until the funds for are available for a proper lift.

I've removed the front plastic lower air dam, and so far there are no rubbing issues, even at full lock (not planning to off-road until the lift and flat fenders).

I've also committed the cardinal sin of not changing the spare to match the new setup (also related to the funds issue lol). Any recommendations for a good spare tire cover?

Rattle came back the other day and I believe I narrowed it down to my muffler again. I adjusted it but cant seem to keep it away from the frame on the passenger side soooooo, looking for a smaller muffler to get it off the frame rail there.

Anyone have any recommendations? Looking for something close to stock sound or quiet but smaller and lighter too. Dont want to spend a ton either. Saw a dynomax that looks small and fairly cheap. Anyone have an experience with this one? Is it fairly quiet?

Kicker/Mopar Speaker Upgrade

2 for 2 for great mods this weekend! These sound great, just like the vids on YouTube say they do.

Fronts going in tomorrow. Poly-filled the sound bar openings, these crush the stock speakers. I think they were $60 per pair or so on Amazon. Installation time was about 20 minutes, 5 of which was refilling wine glass.

Yeah, seems to be the general consensus everywhere I've looked.

Here's my rig next to a buddy's, which is what mine will look similar to in the following years.

I am assuming those are the base speakers that you replaced. Can you do me a fav and stick an ohm meter on them and see if they are 4 or 8 ohms. I forgot to do mine when I replaced them and threw them out.

Don’t have an ohm meter fellas... just a couple ears, a few friends with ears and everyone was blown away. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!
