Installed Teraflex HD ball joints.

The rust from 4 Michigan winters made removing the unit bearings, knuckles & stock balljoints absolute hell. At least 30 minutes of hammering with a 4 lb sledge on each unit bearing & knuckle, & when the stock balljoints let loose using the press it sounded like a gunshot!

Glad I did it though, the stockers were definitely shot.

Replaced the OEM transfer case skid with one from smittybilt. They may get a bad rep, but this piece is legit
3/16 steel with contour that adds rigidity. Only knock on it is I had to enlarge a slot a quarter inch to allow the 5th th bolt through. For fun i raised the Jack supporting the skid for install and raised the jeep, no bend. The engine/tranny skid goes on at my next oil change after I install my new drain valve.

Then I fixed my wife's Subaru's window washer fluid plumbing. After all it is mother's day. Mine took 15 min. Hers took 1 hour and a parts run.

That was my very first mod to my JK when I got it. Had the same issue of my phone/case being a little too thick (that was an iPhone 8+ then, and now a Note 9). I ended up swapping out the clamp with an Anker wireless charger mount. Holds a little better and has the added bonus of juice.

ARB Diff Covers

Front and rear ARB diff covers, because why the hell not. Easy install, hardest part was pouring the gear fluid in. Went with Valvoline 80W-90.

Whatever cable was attached to the bracket on the old diff cover. I’m drawing a blank right now. Happy to check when I’m home

Installed fire stick CB Antenna to replace broken one and ordered replacement AM/FM antenna (favorite stations keep going to analog-static).

Driving my JK this evening I heard a quick beep / alarm noise from my instrument cluster and I saw flash on one of the error lights, then I noticed that the speed odometer had dipped down briefly.
It happened too fast to see which error light flashed. On the drive home it happened two more times, ugh.

Could this possibly be a bad wheel speed sensor I wonder ?

I ordered a OBD reader on amazon (bluetooth which should work with the OBD Fusion app) which should arrive tmrw, and then check it out.

99% itís a ground issue. Check all the ground points around the driverís footwell. Tighten those up and this will not happen again. There are 3 or 4 of them, the primary culprit is likely right under the driverís door hinge.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll take a look at that tmrw. Will also check my battery connection.

I'll bring my other vehicle to work tmrw.

Installed the Pedal Commander that I won at EJS. Hopefully this will de-tune my skinny pedal off-roading.

Took the two-piece soft doors off and put the hard doors back on. Heading to the beach this weekend and the wife does not want "3 hours of slapping and flapping". I did come back with a retort, however it is not fit for public consumption!

Gave the interior a good spring cleaning. I was going to wash and wax it but upon checking the weather decided against it. Starting Friday night were looking at rain and possible heavy storms for about 4 days straight so it can stay dirty awhile longer.

I just added some shackles on the front tow hooks. After I added the grill guard there wasn't enough clearance to even connect a tow strap to the hooks.
