Put these aerodynamic caps from Steer Smarts on my drag link and tie rod ends. Gave me 27 more HP and increased fuel mileage by 1.7 MPG

Oh yeah - also:

- Installed a 55" TV with sound bar and subwoofer in the man cave
- Replaced the broken drag link attenuator
- Dropped and lubricated the drive shafts
- Changed the engine oil
- Changed the transfer case fluid (bloody mess)
- Changed the manual transmission fluid
- Re-centered the steering wheel
- Checked the front end alignment
- 5-tire rotation (Discount tire did that one)

Busy weekend

I put a angled fitting on my TRE's so they could be easily greased with tire off... Also that bottom cap on the YETI you pictured there tends to hold water. I don't know if it's a problem or not, but I was greasing mine on Saturday and I felt a few drips land on me and noticed it was coming from inside that cap. I smeared it up good with silicon before I installed mine, but water still found its way.

Started off my vacation with a driveway oil change after getting into some mud while rock hunting for a landscaping project I got going. Tomorrow is 5 tire rotation day somewhere in between said landscaping project, which that depends on the rain that is supposed to be here tomorrow.

Tops been off for Summer. Tube doors have been on already for Summer. So I broke out the Neoprene seat covers from the garage. They are badly faded black now purple from last Summer. So I spray painted them all with Vinyl spray paint, and they look brand new! Gotta protect the leather seats from the 90 plus degree Summer days!

Over lunch I scored a set of take-off Rubicon Recon rock rails. These look like my 10A rock rails just with a perforated plate on top. They are also shortened from the factory for bigger tires.

My 10A ones have rust beginning where the plastic plugs are to the point the coating is lifting a bit. I cut the rears down by an inch when I installed my 35, but I have always liked the look of the Recon rock rails. I nice improvement to them imho.

I'll post up some pics after I get them installed tonight.

didn't do much, drove it some, had the insurance adjuster stop by and pick up the video as evidence for my claim on the other parties policy...

threw the 4 wheel covers in the dish washer and cleaned them, lots of grease and yuckies.....I think the wheels need help too....

Those Recon rails look great. I replaced my standard Rubi rails with Recon rails as well. I got a pretty good deal on them according to what some people have reported they paid.

Got the 2nd bestop trektop nx from QT mostly installed today, after waiting nearly another week for bestop to send me a replacement piece. The sun had went down so everything had cooled off enough to where the sunrider won't latch. That material isn't very giving! So I'll park it in the sun tomorrow and hope it latches after a warmup

Kicks!

Technically it was yesterday, but finally got my new shoes! Falken A/T3W in 255/80R17 flavor. Obviously have barely driven on them yet, but on the highway to work this morning they felt pretty smooth and were super quiet.

Ah! THAT'S why I didn't get these rails!
I was looking at your pictures and wondering why I didn't go that route when I replaced my Rubi rails because they sure look nice...but that kind of money would definitely scare me off.

I cruise rubitrux sometimes and there are at least 3 reviews of these on their site. People saying how they arrived fast and were in great shape. The price on that site is over 1k! I wanted to only pay 300, but we were unable to agree and I could only get him down to 350. I've almost sold my entire stock of YJ 'spare parts', so I'reaching the end of my money tree.

I've got them too in 315/75/17. I can't understand why people are hesitant any more to buy these. Knowing what I know now + the price, I would have bought them sooner and would buy them again and again. I recommend anyone who is still on the fence to go for it before they go up any more in price - which there is no question they will do. Got 5 - 35s for $975 and I'm still thrilled

Just got back from Moab trip. Words do not describe how much I love the place. Such an amazing place for so many reasons.

Did Fins in things the first day, but I only finished half before it got dark

Next morning I did long canyon, which was very scenic

Later in the day I meet up with a Jeep group to do Kane's creek trail

The trail ended up taking longer than we expected, and we ended up spending the night at the base of hamburger hill. Here's the camp spot in the morning.

The next day I finished Fins in things with some of the Jeep group members then finished off the day with Hell's revenge

They seem good so far. Will be taking them to Uwharrie in a couple weeks and then we’ll see how they are off road.
