Got to know the underside of my Jeep today. Installed some KC backup lights. Was going to use qtecs reverse light wiring harness but its back ordered for 2 months and I have already been waiting since Black Friday.

Used the KC harness instead and will just manually then lights on for now. Getting a little too old to be crawling under the jeep running wires.

Can you post a pic closeup of how you mounted those?

Installed the Quadratec midwidth rear bumper. Seems to be a solid piece for an affordable price. Bonus points for working with the stock hitch.

The pic (as well as the license plate bracket) makes it look a bit lower on the right, but it's level.

Pouring here in Georgia today. Ill try and get a pic tomorrow if the rain stops. The lights came with a mounting bracket and I attached the brackets to the 16mm bumper mounting bolts. Really easy install.

Yeah, I'll probably toss some cheap surface mount ones in there. I already have LED bulbs in the stock location which are very bright, but separate ones down lower can never hurt.

You can use those new lights for reverse. If you want some flexibility, install a relay.

I just received some more parts to add to my list...

A new Seicane 10.2 Android Navigation System, this thing is huge just like the iPad...

Some window smoked deflectors...

And some metal badges...polished JK Emblems, Blacked out Jeep Emblems & the new 2019 Sahara Style Emblems to replace the stickers that are on there...

Canadian GP and MRBachand like this.

Yeah, that's the plan. I'll tap into the reverse light only for now and will add an independent switch whenever I get around to picking up an Apollointech setup.

The way I have mine on my 2door is on the light pod to where I can turn them on or off manually, I like it better because when idiots behind me at night have their high beams on...I blast them with the rear lights & you should see the look on their faces when they get lit up lol!

You have a wiring diagram for this?
I want to do the same with my sPOD.
Switched at sPOD, and also on with reverse lights.
But, no reverse lights when switched at sPOD.

Got it for 470 all in from Northridge4x4 last week, for me it was too good to pass up.

There are a few threads here on the subject. Admittedly, I have not researched this much yet as I don't have the switch setup.

I had searched and come up with several, too. I just wish someone would Sticky it with the proper diagram and then close the thread!

I did the opposite, reverse lights only on reverse for compliance/inspection reasons, bumper lights + reverse both LED) when manually switched.

I would be a 2 minute change to do what you want.

If anyone wants a diagram, PM me.

I just pulled my carpets after realizing my soft top leaked during a recent downpour while I was at the Ravens/Steelers game. it is localized to the passenger rear area. The front carpets are not wet at all. carpets are drying in the garage, plugs pulled to let water drain out. I'm now saving for BedTred to fully replace all the carpet, and then I'll pull the plugs permanently.

Im down to either a Warn M8000-S, VR Evo 10S or a VR Evo 8S. The wife is buying and said to get what I want, within reason.

In the very near future, I have new shocks, steer stabilizer, and a bunch of CB antenna stuff to do (aka, all parts are on the way). Happy New Year all.
Shocks done. Steering stabilizer done. Both are Skyjacker Black Max series. Also finished up the CB antenna project following the guidance in this thread

Got it back on the evening of the 31st after having a new hood, headlights, rear bumper and oil pressure sensor and pump installed. Then today added new tail lights and removable Teraflex mudguards with a finishing touch of a good bath and detailing.

I just recently upgraded to LED taillights as well. Coupled with the rear bumper lights makes a tremendous difference in backup lighting over OEM.
