What's wrong???

Left work yesterday and as I'm accelerating to about 25-30 mph I "glided"right about 3 feet. Scared the crap outta me. Thought maybe it was something in the road. Stopped at the red, sped up to the same speed and it did it again! As I'm pulling over the electronic stability light went on for about 10 seconds then turned off. Drove straight to the dealership and told them what's up. They called back today saying they couldn't replicate the issue and it didn't throw any codes. Figured. Bought this brand new in March only has 1600 miles on it now. I don't want to be driving paranoid thinking it's going to happen again. Obviously this isn't normal. Anyone have any ideas? Wheel imbalance?

Did you drive through an oil spot?

Does one of your brakes feel like it hanging up?

All all your tires at the same pressure?

Did you gain a lot of weight or have a hefty friend with you?

Many things could cause it including a faulty wheel speed sensor.

Since you have brought it to there attention, next time it happens take it right back if possible and don't shut it off.

Ether that you may have to pay for diagnostics to dig into and find out what really is going on. Not a horrible thing as you would/should be reimbursed any diagnostic fee if a repair is found and needed.

Not an expert since mine is still a pile of parts in some corner back east....
But I'd suspect the fancy new stability gizmo is applying the brake (s?) on that side.

Not if the it is just glitching and sense wheel spin.

I just replaced two rear wheel bearings and sensors because slowing down one would drop off the map at 18kmh and the other at 4kmh causing the abs to kick in.

Under acceleration they wouldn't start reading till those speeds were approached. Not once did a code pop up in history or present while we had our Snap On Solus Ultra scanner on it and drove around for 15mins diagnosing a complaint of abs kicking in below 5kmh.

Sorry, back in the day wheel speed was sensed by the flying mud.
I'm getting the impression I'm in for a jeep induced culture shock of sorts.
