what's your location.

Seems like lots of folks on WF don't list their location. If state and city were listed, it might help to better answer questions about needs to regear or types of off rode driving. Like to help out if I can with best available info.

It used to really bug me that people didn't fill out their location and update their profile, garage, or sig.

What part of the country, along with what year vehicle and what model goes a long ways in terms of helping to answer questions.

Absolutely agree! People throw around phrases like "in the winter, you want to do X" or "always ride topless in the summer". Guess what, some areas don't get much snow or cold in the winter. Some places are 117 degrees in the shade during summer (-vs- a nice 82 with a breeze).

Context matters.

I'm with you on this one, there have been quite a few times I've read a comment, wondered what part of the country (or world for that matter) this is going on in and looked for their location.

Agreed. Being new to Jeep and this forum I also think that it would be nice if posted pictures included a full description of every mod so that I could learn the manufacturer/size/source/etc. of stuff that I like.

As my kids say, " My Bad" I will update mine.

Can I put who I want to be or does it need to be the truth?

Updated, anything to help the wrangler wizards help me (which so far has been huge - thanks)

Also, just to be another one - I'm from the other side, where the grass is greener.
