05 TJ Won’t Turn Over

Could use a hand. My Jeep won’t turn over. I’ve checked fuses and battery cables. It never tries to start. Lights don’t dim. If I remove small control wire from solenoid and jump it to the positive wire she turns right over. Get zero response in neutral or park. Checked all the fuses. I swapped out what said starter relay in fuse box under hood with another with the same numbers. No dice. So basically I pullled up to the house and shut it off a couple of weeks ago and have not been able to move it since. I’m sure I could start it by jumping solenoid on starter. Just don’t care to do it while I’m under vehicle. So no power to the small wire to solenoid. Can someone point me in the right direction to trace that out or what to check?

Thanks for for the suggestion. Is there any way to test the actuator without taking it apart? I watched a few videos on replacement. Didn’t see any to dio. I thought about the neutral and park switches. But wanted to ask for suggestions on here first. Seems like the broken pin might be common. This place helped me tremendously when I started with a stock tj. It’s been lifted, regeared, bigger tires and wheels, transmission cooler a few other things. Really appreciate it thanks

“Zero response in neutral or park”
Pretty strong evidence for auto if it has a park position

At least for early tj years on manual tranny they replace the park neutral switch with a jumper across the wires

Try that if then starts it is park neutral switch or its adjustment

If not go for actuator pin
Or test each switch (ignition and park neutral) with a test light or meter

Try moving the shifter between Park & Neutral while holding the ignition switch in the Start position. If it starts while doing that it's likely either a stretched/out of adjustment shifter cable or a bad NSS/Neutral Safety Switch. If it still doesn't start, which is my guess that it will not, the problem is more likely a broken ignition switch actuator pin like at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
