Anyone know where I can get

Any one know if they still sell 2006 TJ break booster check valves, everywhere I have tried so far doesn’t stock them and can’t get them.

any ideas guys, it’s much cheaper than replacing the whole booster as I’m sure that’s what’s failed.

Thanks

Sometimes, you just need to know how to spell:

B R A K E
BM3 and DCLXVI like this.

But the wrong part came up. The vehicle fitment listing shows the 2007 Jeep, not the 2006 Jeep. I could not find a specific listing but both NAPA and O'Reilly's list a generic.

Measure the hose inlet size, the body that inserts into the booster size and check the dimensions listed. The kits all show the grommet is included. I have my 2003 as a listed vehicle in NAPA and it will filter parts.

Yes you are quite right, I have a habit of using the non correct spelling for brake when typing fast on my phone, and maybe kore often that that who knows.

As for the part, I also couldn’t see a listed part for a TJ, that’s why I posted the thread as I know they existed as I have the parts diagram (no parts number though if anyone has one that would be useful). They seem to either not be sold anymore or were never widely available.

So rgreen are you suggesting measuring my current check valve against stated valves on that site, would it be as simple as using a valve if it fitted?, or is the pressure per model that the valve uses differing.

Thanks guys

It is a simple check valve. Stops flow of air and directs air in only one direction. The only thing you’ve gotta do is ensure the two barb fittings work on your tj. Diameter of the hose and diameter of the booster hole. It says on the autozone description “fits many vehicles “.
