Did the 2003 wrangler sahara come in black?

Cars for Sale: 2003 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 Sahara in Jacksonville, FL 32244: Sport Utility Details - 324294843 - AutoTrader.com

I found what I think is a pretty good deal on a wrangler but I'm worried someone stuck a sahara sticker on a regular. Not that it's a huge deal. What do you all think?

Thanks,
John

Doesn't look right to me. I have an 02 black Sahara. Also, interior is usually a green/tan combo. Plus, that Sahara decal does not look like the ones that came on the TJs but I could be wrong

Get the VIN and run the numbers with Chrysler to get a build sheet. That will tell you for sure. But to answer your question, yes Saharas came in all black.

Yes it did. Everything on that Sahara is correct for an '03 including the decals, dash and interior color. I know, I have one.

Cool. I'm going to get some more data about the accident it was in. But I like it. Seems like a good deal? Any other thoughts from anyone? It looks like a good base to build what I want.

Just make sure it has the dana 44 rear, no sense paying that much and getting a dana 35.

I can confirm the decal, I've got a 2003 and it's the same.

Ditto.

I was curious about the cloth seats though. Mine are vinyl or some sort of leatherette, probably just an option though. But yes make sure it has a Dana 44 or else there is no reason to get a Sahara.

The cloth seats are the correct color for the model. We had the option of that cloth or leather. I have full charcoal leather. Only thing I would have changed in mine is the honey colored carpet to dark gray or charcoal.

Wow, learn something new everyday. I didn't realize that the 03s changed it up that much.

Same interior that my 04 has except I have Dark Khaki in mine. The two tone seemed to have ended in 02. But those are Sahara high back buckets

Everyone says you need the Dana 44 but if you're not doing a big lift and serious offroading it's not necessary. The Dana 35 isn't made of glass lol.

$10k for 120,000+ miles though = yuck in my book. When I was looking online just a few months ago, I saw a dozen around this year with 4.0 and a/c that had less than 90,000 miles for that price. Get the dealer to come down to $7k or look for a better buy in my opinion. Good luck either way!

Wow. BFG, Falken, and Procomp. Wear issues and only bought two tires at a time maybe? Check steering/suspension.

Agree, it seems like the high side for negotiations. I'd bring the price down or keep looking.
