Why not get aftermarket heavy duty ones? They fit great.

I know I didn't answer your question.

Have you tried asking the parts dept at your local dealer? I wore a hole in mine as well, but instead of getting the same ones I got the jeep brand heavy duty rubber ones from the dealer, which I like a lot better. Not only will I not be wearing a hole in these ones, but you can rinse them off easily.

You'd be better off with liners like everyone is suggesting.

Do the liners "stay in place"? I have aftermarket generic and the drivers side keep moving around.

Do the stock Mopar rubber attach to the floor?

+1 on those, I bought a set for my 02 and they fit like a glove and capture a heck of a lot more than the stock mats.

As the 2 response's below... the fit like a glove. Front to back. Side to side. They are designed to cover the whole floor area and come up the sides a bit. They physically cannot move if they wanted to. They have the same little hole in them for the OEM hook thingy... but it really is not needed. I have a small water leak and they catch all that. They're great.

My quadratec ones definitely stay in place. I have a hook on the drivers side that the floor map "plugs" into. And the quadratec kit give you a "hook" you can install on the passenger side so it won't move either. I showed my 5 year old son how to install the passenger side hook in literally 1.5 minutes.

Any Tan aftermarket floor liners out there? I'd prefer not to have black in my Sahara tan interior, but really tired of the worn out carpet liners.

I've seen some carpet mats on quadratec. Here's a couple. They may not be oem, but they're close enough.

Funny - I have my OEM mats still (agate) I took them out of my first TJ that I bought new the first week and replaced them with husky mats.

Fast forward 19 years and for whatever reason I still kept them. Sold that Jeep though. I bought another TJ 2 months ago and didn't have floor mats. Threw them in until I figure out which ones I want. I definitely can get a picture but probably not the color you want, I think all saharas were tan. They're like new

I also have the Owners operator VHS they gave me lol. Also have pretty nice condition stock seats from that Jeep I replaced early on and the flares too. Now that I think of it I have quite a bit. New looking OE spare tire carrier and third brake light. Already swapped in my stock radio I took out early on. I may swap out the rest and restore rather than modify!

At your request. Here's a photo of the front OEM tan/spice/camel carpet floor mats that came in my '01 TJ Sahara. They have snaps that fasten them to the OEM carpet. I don't think it came with rear carpet mats.

When I bought the Jeep, I immediately ordered the Mopar/Jeep rubber floor mats. These are shown too. The rear mat was originally one piece, but I had to cut the section out that goes over the rear drive train hump, because my Sahara has a center console with rear cup holders. The console was in the way and would not have fastened flat to the floor if I had not removed a portion of the rear rubber mats.

The front driver's OEM rubber mat has a hole now after 19 years. I think I'll purchase aftermarket ones soon.

These were from a 2001 Sport. We weren't high end enough for the Jeep logo! And no, they didn't come with rear mats only front.

Hate to thread resurrect but did anyone ever come across a set of factory mats? Mine wore out a long time ago and I'm in the process of slowly bringing back my interior to 100%.

Thanks! I was shocked to see so many replies this morning.

I had a 97 Sahara around 10 years ago when I caught the overlanding bug and did it all... lift, bumpers, racks etc. I sold it to move on to a more practical (roomier) overlanding truck. Since then I've had kids and have moved on from all of that, but I do miss the old Sahara. I found one in excellent condition that is damn near completely original (minus the floor mats). I'm going to keep this one as it is, radio and all, and use it as the family convertible.

Thanks everyone for your help!

I use the MOPAR Jeep rubber slush mats. I bought two sets a while back and I one in set in reserve. Since more and more parts are discontinued every day.

Here are some.

I did about the same thing a month before my second was born, got practical. Jeep bug never left. I had an '01 with varying degrees of lifts, lockers, flipped twin stick Dana 300, etc.

I decided last summer to get a CJ7 as a toy but not a lot of luck finding one in decent shape for not a large amount of money. Ended up with another TJ same color (silverstone) but a '00 and auto. This one has never been modified so I'm keeping it closer to stock as well, as I don't have the same time or inclination for trail riding as I used to. Definitely a throwback, and I still try to put my clutch foot down!

I've been in the parts hoarding mood for my TJ as well. It's been in the family since '99...I remember going to the dealership with my parents when I was about 5 when they bought it. Was my mom's daily for years. Took it to college for my first year, and now it lives a more relaxed life. It's driven regularly but not as much as a true daily. I'm slowly bringing it back to 100%. It's pretty clean as is, but there's some small stuff like scuffs on interior plastics, a worn driver seat cushion, missing floor mats, and some minor rust that I want to take care of.

These were in my Rubicon when I bought it in 2014. I liked them so much, the first thing I did when I added the 2015 to the fleet was purchase a similar set for it. When I traded the 2015 in on the 2017, I just moved them over.

They catch all the crud your shoes pick up and then it's easy to pick them up and dump it out in the yard. Every once in a while I will scrub them out to get them looking new again.
